MRK-61 MOBILE ROBOTIC SYSTEM

The MRK-61 system is designed for eliminating aftermaths of radiation accidents in environments which endanger human life. The MRK-61 system is applied on concrete and asphalt paving and solid unpaved surfaces, with track irregularity up to 100 mm high and the maximal slope gradient of 10%.
The MRK-61 incorporates a mobile robot, equipped with a manipulator, a portable operator control unit, a TV camera lifter, a front-lift loader and a cable layer.

 The system has the following features:

• front-lift loader truck conveys (relocates) contaminated soil, materials and performs the handling operations;
• TV cameras ensure visual inspection of the area and materials;
• suitable for radiation surveillance and placing radioactive materials into a special container, liquid and soil sampling;
• optional equipment enables to cut metal re-bars and perform various kinds of paving hitters.
