RLD-SM-Krokus-F detector is intended for rectilinear perimeter sector (extent
10-50m) alarm blocking of different sites: administrative buildings, offices,
parks, resorts, country complexes, museums, historic monuments, etc. This model
belongs to bistatic microwave detectors. The detector looks like and operates as
a street lamp.
Electromagnetic field (a detection zone) is formed between a transmitter and
receiver. The principle of operation is based on electromagnetic field changes
when it is crossed by an intruder.
The form of a radome makes visual determination of the detection zone by form
difficult for intruder.
The power flow density radiated by the transmitter does not exceed 10 mcW/cm2.
This radiation level is secure for the attending personnel and there is no time
limit of presence within the territory of the protection boundary (ÃÎÑÒ
12.1.006-84).
RLD-SM-Krokus-F detector is available in 2 modifications of design,
which differ in the construction of the mounting kit:
Modification S: is installed on a special tele-scopic post which is included in
the delivery set. It allows easily, without any additional adjustment, to
readjust the height of transmitter and receivers mounting in case of snow
blanket level change.
Modification K: is installed on the obstacles and walls of buildings.
